Dr. Teresa Turner, Ed.D.
Author · Leadership Coach · EMBER Framework Founder · Fulbright Leader for Global Schools
Dr. Teresa Turner is a Fulbright Leader for Global Schools, the author of Rekindled: One Leader. One Fellowship. One Fire Relit., and the founder of the EMBER Framework for school leadership. She is a former principal who has led three schools across Montessori, IB, and career-magnet models, and currently serves as a school and district administrator in South Carolina, where she has directed nearly $30 million in federal magnet grants — including the nation's first K–12 aerospace magnet pathway.
In January 2026, Dr. Turner traveled to Finland as a Fulbright fellow, where ten days of school visits, professional conversations, and one unforgettable dip in the Baltic Sea gave her back something she didn't know she'd lost — and produced the leadership framework and the book you'll find on this site. She has since been appointed to the Friends of Fulbright Finland Advisory Council (2026–2029), helping shape the very exchange program that changed the course of her career.
Dr. Turner holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is living her best life in South Carolina with her husband.
